in the Puerto Rico Distract
Metropolitan Opera Competition.
She returned to Carnegie
Hall for performances
of Mozart's Regina coeli K.276
and the Bach Magnifical with
Mid-America at Carnegie
Hall. On November 9 she won Second Place
in the Nats
Competition in NYC On Sat. April 18 she
made her debut wwith the Dessoff Choirs led by Malcolm
Merriweather sining excerpts from Bach's Mass
in B Minor at the Mother AME Zion Church in Harlem. She will be
an ens./ soloist with the New York Philharmonic on April 30 and
May 1,2. She performed in Ellen Reid's Earth between Oceans
in the NY Premiere led by Maestro Dudamel. She made her debut with
Union Av. Opera as Hodel in Bock's
Fiddler on the Roof form July 3-11.

Cambridge Symphony Orchestra in Boston at the Grege
Auditorium. He performed in Boston Lyric Opera's
Gala "Ride of the Valkyres" at Sowo Power Station
in Boston. Hewas soloist in the Lord Nelson Mass with Cambridge
Community Chorus on Dec. 14. He performed
Pantheus in Berlioz's Les Troyens a Carthage with the
Boston Youth Symphony at Sanders Theatre on Jan. 25. On
Feb 22 he performed "A Feast of Remembrance" with The
Boston Cecilia at NEC. On June 21 he made his
debut with Mid-America Productions at Carnegie Hall
singing the Faure Requiem. On July 24 to Aug. 1 he will
make his debut with Union Av. Opera in St. Louis singing Belcore
in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore.

SARAH JOYCE COOPER performed

Division. On March 28 she sang Samuel Barber's
Hermit Songs and
a few Spirituals at St. Agatha-St.John Parish
in Philadelphia Ms. Cooper sang Beethoven's Symphony #9 with
the Ridgefield Symphony on April 18. On April 26 she returned
to Mid-America as soloist forthe premiere of Mark Hayes
"Psalmos" at Carnegie Hall. On April
30 she performed a concert of Highlights from Elixir of
Love for the 60th anniversary of the Bar Harbor Music
Festival. The concert and dinner will be at the Kosciusko
Foundation in NYC. She sang Bennett's arrangement of Porgy
and Bess and Nicolas Hersh's
We Shall Overcome with the NEC Youth Philharmonic
an Jordan Hall in Boston on May 20. On July 2 she performed an American
Songbook concert with the Bar Harbor Music Festical. As
artistic director she will perform as Violetta
in Verdi's La Traviata with Opera Arcadia in Maine on Aug.
21 and 22.
Soprano KAHLI DALBOW
performed Georgetta in Il Tabarro with
Boulder
Opera. In July and in August she performs the title
role of Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos
at the Trentino Music Fesival
in Italy. She has beeen performing throughout the season with
Utah Opera.

with the In Series in DC. On June 27 was his
debut with Bershire Chorale Festival singing as bass soloist in
Dame Ethel Smith's Mass in D. On July 12 was his debut with the
Oregon Bach Festival as bass soloist in Margaret Bond's Credo.
Tenor ETHAN ELLIS
returned to Carnegie Hall
and Mid-America Productions as a soloist
in Monteverdi Magnificat. This
Summer was Tamino in Magic Flute with Chicago Summer
Opera. On Dec 7 and 14 he sang Handel's Messiah with
Bach in Baltimore. On
April 26 he returned to Carnegie
Hall and Mid-America
Productions for performances as soloist in Mozart's
Coronation Mass as well as the Forrest Requiem
for the Living. He sang Remendado in Bizet's Carmen
with Regina Opera in Brooklyn.
Argentinian soprano MARIS JOSE FABARA resides
in Colorado. She performed Norina in Donizetti's
Don Pasquale
with Ft. Collins Opera. Last
Summer she performed Micaela in Bizet's
Carmen with the Equadorian
Symphony in Quita Equador. She also performed
Opera in the Park "Be;;a Voce" with
Boulder Opera. She also returned to Boulder
Opera as Adina in Elixir
of Love. She begins the Fall season with Mimi in Puccini's La
Boheme on Oct. 24,26 at University of Cuenza in Equador.
Soprano SUZAN HANSON
has redirected her
career to being
a director and singer.

Symphony Orchestra to celebrate Toshi
Shimada's 15th season with the orchestra. He also performed
in a world premier opera "To the

in Boston. On September 25 he performeduu at an event for Mexican
designer Celestino Couture
at Walkway on the Hudson in Poukeepsie NY.
On October 12 he performed an Italian Concert at
the Italian Festival
in Kingston NY sponsored by the Ulster
County Italian American Foundation. On Nov. 16 he performs
Tony in Terrence McNally's Masterclass as well
as other music at SER restaurant in Arlington VA. On
November 30 he returns to perform in a Music Salon Series in
Falls Church VA. On December 11 he sang
a program at the Zanesville Museum of Art in
Ohio. He also repeated Mc
Nally's Masterclass in Barcelona Spain.

Festival on 7/31 and 82 along with performances as Nrmano in Lucia
di Lammermoor. On October 11 and 13 he
makes his debut at the Daegu Opera House in Korea as Ping in Puccini's
Turandot.

Maestro ERIC MAHL has been named Music Director in
a multi-year contract with the Ridgefield
Symphony Orchestra. He is also currently
Music Director
of Northport
Symphony Orchestra, Arcadia Opera co. In addition
he is on the faculy of the Charles
Ives Music Festival. He
began his reign as Music Director with the Ridgefield
Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 8. On July 15 and 16 made
his debut as Music Director and conductor of L'Elise
d'amore with the Bar Harbor Music
Festival in Maine.
He brought his musical and teaching talents
to the Charles Ives Music Festival
in Connecticut. On Sept. 27 he led the
opening concert with the Ridgefield Symphony
Orchestra. Dec 6 was the next performance followed by a concert
on Feb. 7.

professor of voice at Utah State University.

Desert Song Festival. She continues to

by Mazzoli at Lyric Opera of Chicago.
She sang the National Anthem at a White Sox baseball
game. At Lyric Opera of Chicago
she is covered the Mother in Madama Butterfly.
On Jan 23 and 25 she made her debut with Winter Opera St.
Louis as Ulrica in Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera.
Bass-baritone ELIAM RAMOS
returned to perform as soloist in Handel's Judas
Maccabeus with Bach in Baltimore.
On Sunday April 26 he at 4pm performed as soloist in the Verdi
Requiem at the Puerto Rico Conservatory.
He is an alumnae. The conductorwass Roselin Pavon. On April
30 he performed a concert of Highlights from Elixir of

performed a concert with Teatro Grattacielo at 1pm under the Brooklyn

in NYC on July 16 and 18. He also sings High priest in Samson
and Dalilia in his debut at Union Avenue Opera
in St. Louis. The performances are August 14,15,21,22.

ISABEL RANDALLsang Amelia Piper in Jodi Goble's
Whaling Women at
Boston Conservatory. She also performed
a recital in Red Hill Virginia. .Last Summer she was a
young artist with Opera
Theatre of St. Louis. She
covered Zoe Walker in This House by
Ricky Ian Gordon. Isabel also performed "Our Songs"
a concert with Opera Theatre of St. Louis On
Oct 13 she begins her residency at Dayton Opera. She will do
a Childrens Concerts, other performances, as well as Mercedes in Bizet's
Carmen on the main stage.. On Dec 16 she returned
to the Dayton Philharmonic to perform as
soloist in Handel's Messiah. On Feb 14 and 15
she performed a solo concert for Black History Month with the
Rochester Oratorio Society.
On Sunday May 10 she returns to the
Oratorio Society of Virginia
to perform as alto soloist in Mendelssohn's Elijah.
She will be a part of the Cincinnati Fellowship
of Song May 17-22.

Group was recognized as on of the trailblazers
who has shaped the Port Authority of NY
and NJ durting Black History Month. Fred sang a Holiday

Staten Island.He also received a "Trendsetters to Watch
Award" in Las Vegas. On Saturday April 11 he performed
in the opening ceremonies of the Rochester
Institute Performing Arts Center. He performeds a Porgy and Bess
program with State Opera of NJ
on April 29. He has also been elected to the
Board of Directors of the same. He sings with State
Opera of NJ on June 28 at 6pm.. The show is "It Ain't Necessarily
So."

by the South Carolina Arts Commission. He was
soloist in The Year of the Jubilee by Harvey
Brough with the Rochester
Choral Society. He returned to
Carnegie Hall for a
concert with Mid-America
Productions as soloist in Bond's
Ballad of the Brown King. He also returned
to the Rochester Choral Society for a
recording of Harvey Brough's Freedom Song.
On June 6 he premiered his one man show "A Gullah
Evening with Zabriel" with
the Rochester Choral Society in Rochester NY. He
returned to Carnegie Hall with Mid-America
to perform Bernstein's Chichester Psalms on May 9.
Bass VALERIAN
RUMINSKI returned to
Carnegie Hall for a performance of
Mozart's Coronation
Mass with Mid
America Productions. Following this he was
soloist in Hayden Mass
with the Putnam Chorale
in Brewster and Beacon NY. He made his debut with
Bielefeld Theatre as Bartolo in Mozart's
Le nozze di figaro. He was a voice on "Little Emma" an
animated film in LA. He also returned to Opera de Montreal
as Benoit/Alcindoro in La Boheme.
Valerian made his debut as Commandatore in Mozart's
Don Giovanni with the Blackwater
Valley Opera Festival in Ireland on May 26-June 1.

ROCKY
E. SELLERS sang with the Rochester
Choral Society in Glenn McClure's
"Promised Land"and repeaated it at
Geneseo College. Last season he was in
Tosca and Moby Dick at the
Metropolitan Opera. Rocky made
his debut at Carnegie Hall sining the
Mozart Requiem and Vesperae
solemnes de confessore on
June 1 with Mid-America Productions. This Fall
was Porgy and Bess at Houston Grand Opera
as well as the Metropolitan Opera. On
Sat. April 11 he performs Coplan's Old American Folksongs Part 1 with
the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra at St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn Heights.
On April 16 he performed at concert in the Schaumburg Library
in Harlem in a tribute to the founder He is
currently rehearsing Fanciulla
at the MET Opera. He
made his debut with the Berkshire Choral International
singing Mozart's Coronation Mass, Martines
Paslm 110 and Nunes-Garcia Requiem
in D minor at the Newman Center in Denver Colorado. On Oct. 16 and
18 he performs Osmin in Mozart's Enfuhrung aus dem Seraglio at Opera
Idaho.
