Ming Yuan Li
Soprano

 











Soprano Ming Yuan Li graduated from Wu Han Conservatory of Music and so after (1988), became an actress in Beijing Central Opera House.  In 1992 she was invited to Spain on a two year scholarship to study at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music del Liceo, under the tutelage of the great Alfredo Kraus.  She immigrated to the USA to continue her studies at the San Francisco Music Conservatory.  Pursuant to her graduation there she relocated to the tri-state area.  Her knowledge and expertise was immediately recognized and in 2004 she was invited to judge the Eastern U.S. CCTV Music Competition. 

Performances to her credit include Gala Concerts in many of the major venues of NYC, including Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Rockefeller Center, the World Financial Center for their Spring Music Festival, and the Flushing Library’s Summer Concert series.  Regionally she has been heard as a featured soloist in concerts at the Winter Festival in Saratoga NY, at Connecticut State University, at the Yale Chinese Culture Night Gala and in Stoney Brook State University’s 2012 Chinese New Year celebration.
