Ms. Dupree won the first place for her district in the Metropolitan Opera's National Council competition and was a finalist and a prize-winner in the regional Metropolitan Opera Competition. She has won many other awards, including first place in the Leontyne Regional Prize Competition in San Francisco and second in the national competition in Dallas, Texas. She won the first place in the NATS contest (Division 2) and was awarded a Tanglewood scholarship.

Her repertoire includes the title roles in Aida, Tosca, Madama Butterfly (concert version) Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Leonora in Il Trovatore and the title role in La Gioconda.
Her symphonic repertoire includes Mahler's Second and Fourth, The Verdi Requiem and Beethoven's Ah Perfido! She also has sung the Mozart Exsultate with the Albany Community Symphony Orchestra, Kirk Smith conducting.

Ms. Dupree has sung in productions and concerts with the Bregenz Festival in Austria, Goetz Friedrich directing, Opera Pieno, Eugene Opera,  California State Opera Theater,  Russian Opera Theater,  Center Stage Opera and the Danbury Opera Theater.

After taking a hiatus to work with a new teacher Ms. Dupree returned in June last year to sing  the title role of Tosca with Center Stage Opera, Leonora from Forza del Destino, followed by at the role of Elizabetta in Don Carlo.

Recently Ms. Dupree was seen in concert at the Actor’s Temple in excerpts of Wagner and Verdi and in “All The Stars Are Out “ in New York City in scenes from Il Trovatore and Cavalleria Rusticana.

Ms. Dupree was seen in Concert  at La Nuova Fenice Opera House in Osimo Italy  in August 2018, Michel Brousseau conducting.  She performs Tosca, Act II  with Opera On The Roof in NYC in May of 2019.

Education: Ms. Dupree holds a BA and MM performance degree.
