Originally from Loch Lomondside in Scotland, Lee Bisset studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, in Italy and at the Royal Northern College of Music. Whilst at the RNCM Lee won the Joyce and Michael Kennedy Strauss Prize, the Webster Booth Award and the Dame Eva Turner Award. She attended the National Opera Studio where she was sponsored by English National

Her roles have included Tatyana Eugene Onegin (Diva Opera and Clonter Opera), Fiordiligi Cosi fan Tutte (Grange Park Opera and Diva Opera), Donna Elvira Don Giovanni(Ryedale Festival), Donna Eleonora Prima la musica poi le parole (Israeli Vocal Arts Institute) First Lady The Magic Flute (ENO) and Violetta La Traviata (Clonter Opera). Last year she represented Scotland at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, and was awarded the Silvermann Scholarship by the International Vocal Arts Intstitute. 

Roles this season include Karolka Jenůfa and Mimì La Boheme for ENO. She is currently a member of the Young Singers' Programme at ENO.
