Matteo Benvenuti was born in Florence in year 1989.
He began singing when he was very young and start taking classes on 2005 studying with M.L. Zeri, Soprano and wife of the famous Orchestra Director and music writer  Luciano Bettarini,  who had been teacher of great opera singers like Ettore Bastianini, Franco Corelli and lately Andrea Bocelli.
After performing in  some concerts in his home town Prato, Matteo moves to Milan to study at Scuola Musicale di Milano with the tenor Carlo Gaifa participating also ino some concerts.
His opera debut happened in year 2013 in Otello by Verdi at Teatro Politeama Pratese in Prato  inh the role of Roderigo next to well known artists and then performined some concerts in Prague. He returned in his town to perfect his studies with the soprano Mayumi Kuroki.
He was then engaged to act and sing the role of Lucignolo in the contemporanee opera of Pinocchio by N. Valli at the Goldoni theater in Leghorn with the  Puccinian Festival  Orchestra  directed by J. Sipri, main Festival Director with the Opera Direction of R. Bonaiuto. He would then replay the same opera at the Puccinian Festival with the well know Opera Director A. Bertini.
Roles he has performed to date are: Roderigo, Gastone, Borsa, Abdallo, Goro, Dancario, and Lucignolo.
The directors he has worked with include: S. Gragnani, A. Bertini, S. Isidori, R. Del Savio, F. Buricchi, R. Bonajuto, U. Manzini, M. Pagano, E. Lovaglio, L. Serperi.
Thise season he performs Dancaire in Bizet's Carmen at Teatro G. Verdi in Montecatini November.  He performs Goro in Puccini's Madama Butterfly at Teatro Politeama in Pratese It. on December 8,9.
